Ingredients

  • 10 ounces boneless ribeye steak
  • 1 small red onion
  • 1 cup peppers I used red and yellow
  • 1 cup mushrooms
  • 1 small carrot
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • teaspoon black pepper
  • cup soy sauce lite
  • ½ cup Teriyaki sauce
  • cup sesame sauce I used P.F Chang’s Home menu sesame sauce Optional

Instructions

How to make this Quick Beef Stir Fry:

  • The first step is to prepare the meat. In this recipe, I use a boneless ribeye. To me, this is a very tender cut of meat and you can find it at Aldis at a very reasonable price. You can also make this recipe with flank steak or skirt steak. Just remember to cut the meat against the grain in thin slices and place it in a bowl.
  • Next, season the meat with ½ teaspoon garlic powder, ⅓ teaspoon black pepper, ¼ teaspoon onion powder. No salt is needed as we are going to be using soy sauce later on. I also suggest having the vegetables cut in your desired size.
  • In a large wok or skillet heat 1 teaspoon oil at high temperature and add the meat. Cook for about 1-2 minutes each side.
  • Then, add the mushrooms stir until all is combined, and proceed to add the rest of the vegetables. I decided to add peppers, carrots, and onion but you can others like broccoli or green beans.
  • Next, add ⅓ cup soy sauce lite and½ cup teriyaki sauce, 1/3 cup sesame sauce, and stir until all is well combined. Let it cook for about 2 to 4 minutes or until the vegetables are in your desired texture and the sauce has thickened. If you decide to add broccoli it will take it a little longer. Now is time to serve!

Notes

I like to serve this beef stir-fry over rice. You can also serve with fajitas, Mashed Potatoes, or even a side of my Moro Rice and Beans Recipe.
