Cilantro Lime Rice Recipe

Cilantro Lime Rice is one of my favorites. It’s the perfect side dish to compliment chicken, pork chops, or as a base for a burrito bowl. The rice is fluffy and flavorful. For those of you that despise cilantro, don’t walk away; you can still make this recipe; skip the cilantro. I will not judge you; I promise. The rice has many components to it that infuse so much flavor anyways. If you are like me and love cilantro, you will be more than happy!

Tips:
There are many different methods to cook rice; over the years, I have found the one that works for me, and I share my tips with you on that post.
  1. It’s better critical when cooking rice to know the water-rice ratio to make fluffy, delicious rice.  I recommend 1 cup of water for 1 cup of rice if you use short or medium grains. When using white long-grain rice, use 1 ½ to 2 cups of water for 1 cup of rice.
  2. Another important trick is not to cover the rice during the boiling process. It’s essential to wait until all the water evaporates.
