How to Make the most flavorful Taco Meat (Ground Beef) Recipe
This taco meat is made with fresh ingredients. No taco seasonings(packages) were used. The meat is cooked with fresh garlic, oregano, onion, red, yellow, orange, green peppers, cilantro and for the spicy kick, I used jalapeno peppers. The meat is moist, juicy and flavorful. This recipe is perfect for birthday parties, family reunions, movie nights or any other gatherings. It is so easy to make and all you have to do after making the meat is put it on the table aside with your favorite toppings and let everyone custom their own taco.
Season the ground beef with garlic, salt, and black pepper. I like to combine these ingredients with a mortar & pestle to intensify there flavors.
In a skillet over medium, high heat, add olive oil then proceed to add the already seasoned ground beef. If you prefer, remove some of the fat. I like to keep it as the vegetables will absorb all of it. Cook for about 10 to 15 minutes or until the meat starts to brown.
Proceed to add the vegetables
Add some taco salsa and some tomato sauce and stir to combine. Continue cooking over medium-high heat for about 3 minutes.
Simmer over medium-low heat until the sauce has thickened and all the vegetables are cooked.
