Equipment

  • slow cooker

Ingredients

  • 4 to 5 thick pork chops
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 cup preserve apricot or Peach
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  • To make this recipe, we start by seasoning the meat. For this, I combine garlic, salt, and pepper into my mortar and pestle to create a garlic paste that will infuse flavor into the pork chops.
  • Then, I seasoned the chops using the garlic combination, spreading the mixture evenly on both sides of the pork chops.
  • Next, toss the pork chops into your slow cooker, add the BBQ sauce, apricot preserve, then add Worcestershire sauce and cover the pot.
  • Set your slow cooker to 4 to 6 hours, depending on the thickness of your pork chops. Mine are pretty thick, so 6 hours are perfect for me.
  • After the cooking time has passed, the pork chops are so juicy. Take some of the natural juices these pork chops have released to make the sauce. Place it into a small saucepan and reduce until a thick consistency.
  • This BBQ sauce is delicious. Drizzle over the chops and Enjoy! Let me know when you make these chops; I'll be happy to hear from you.
