Pumpkin Spice Hot Chocolate

This month is a celebration of fall here on the blog. I started the celebration with this Mini Pumpkin Cheesecake Dessert. This week I decided to combine two of my favorite flavors pumpkin and chocolate. There are many ways to get into the autumn spirit. For me, it’s the days getting darker earlier, the slow but noticeable changes on the trees, but more importantly, the desire for a hot chocolate drink. This Pumpkin Spice Hot Chocolate recipe is so simple but nevertheless delicious!

Tips and tricks

  • You can use any type of milk
  • There’s no need for sugar as the chocolate provides enough sweetness
  • Keep whisking at all time to make sure all  ingredients are well incorporated
  • It’s important to let the hot chocolate sit for at least 2 minutes before serving it.

How to make this simple and delicious Pumpkin Spice Hot Chocolate

Step 1: In a saucepan, combine the milk (I use almond milk), spices, powdered unsalted chocolate, and pumpkin puree and place it on the stove over medium-high heat and whisk to combine. Bring to a boil and lower the heat.
