Say goodbye to boring, bland and dry chicken breasts! This Juicy Oven-baked Chicken Breast is seasoned with a combination of delicious spices and drizzled with a lemon butter sauce that tastes out of this world!

This chicken breast came out so juicy and tender. One of the secret to a juicy chicken breast is indeed pounding it. However, for this recipe, it was not necessary to do that. What I decided to do instead was to create some steam by covering the chicken beast with foil paper for the first 15 minutes of cooking time( the foil paper trap the steam preventing dryness and overcooking of the chicken). Then, I uncovered and cooked the chicken breast on the highest temperature of the oven to brown it . I suggest paying attention to avoid burning it, for me this took about 10 minutes. All you want is to give the chicken an amazing color.

Step 2: Place the chicken breast on a baking pan and cover it with foil paper. Put in the oven for about 15 to 20 minutes depending on its size.

Step 3: Carefully remove the foil paper and increase the oven temperature to broil. Let it cook for  2 to 5 minutes or until the chicken gets a golden color. Move the chicken breast around to coat it with all the juices.

Step 4: Remove from the oven, place the chicken on a cutting board and let the chicken rest for about 5 minutes. Do not get rid of the baking pan yet.

Step 5: While the chicken is resting Let’s prepare the sauce. For this, you’ll need all of those bits of flavor on the baking pan. Place the baking pan on the stove over medium-low heat and add some butter and half of the lemon. Let it reduce for about 2  to 4 minutes. (The sauce will get thick and dark in color).

* I know this image might not look as pretty, but I wanted to show you the complete process of making it. The flavor of the sauce compensates!
