There is nothing more disappointing than a dry chicken breast. There are a few tips I follow when it comes to making Juicy chicken breast.

 Pounding the chicken breast:

This is a technique that helps the meat cook faster. It also helps in making the pieces of chicken even sizes for a more even cooking result. I put the chicken pieces inside a plastic bag, making sure it’s sealed before I start pounding. (I use this technique, especially when I get the thick chicken breast). I always use my pestle, but you can use any heavy flat object or even a baking rolling pin. Do this to each piece of chicken until the desired thickness is obtained.

Cooking time and temperature:

Cooking chicken can be very tricky. I always make sure to cook the chicken well for safety reasons, as we all know. However, there is a fine line between cooking the meat well to avoid any salmonella issues and cooking it so much that it turns dry as cardboard. In my opinion, the trick to this is balance. This recipe took me about 3 to 5 minutes on each side to give some color to the chicken breast. I also cooked the meat at a medium-high temperature for about 10 minutes, always paying attention to burn. That is a total of about 20 minutes.

Adding healthy fats:

Another way to avoid eating a bland and dry chicken breast is to add butter. I like to use unsalted butter to prevent overpowering the meat with salt. The unsalted butter gives the chicken breast not only an incredible taste but keeps the meat from drying off.

How to make Lemon Chicken Breast:

Step #1: Season the chicken with salt, black pepper, and garlic. I like to use my mortar and pestle to combine these ingredients. Next, add the juice half of a lemon.

Step #3: Next, add the oil to a nonstick pan on medium-high heat, and add the chicken breast to the skillet.

Step #4: Cook, the chicken breast for about 3  to 5 minutes on each side or until the golden brown color, is obtained. Add the unsalted butter and some lemon juice and cook for 2 minutes and remove from the stove. Let it rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
