With breakfast as the most important meal of the day, I’ve started my morning with this baked eggs recipe. Why baked eggs? The great thing about cooking eggs in the oven is how fuss-free and straightforward this method is. All you have to do is throw the eggs into a small baking dish and add your preferred mix-ins. Place them in the oven, and in about 10-15 minutes, you’ll have a complete breakfast/ brunch. The exact amount of time to bake your eggs may vary depending on the thickness of the baking dish, how runny you’d like your eggs, and even the oven’s heat. I like my eggs with a bit of soft yolk, so 8 minutes is enough for me.

Easy Baked Eggs
This is a fun way to get family and friends to make breakfast, especially during holidays or family events. I like to lay out all the small baking dishes and various toppings they can choose from to create their custom dish. After everyone makes their version, I place them on a large tray with parchment paper to write their initials. After a few minutes, everyone gets their eggs.

Tips for Baking Eggs in the Oven:

- It’s also essential to lightly grease the ramekins before adding mix-ins. To make this recipe, I used unsalted butter, but you can use oil or a spray.
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. This is the perfect temperature to bake eggs in the oven. The amount of time to bake your eggs may vary depending on the thickness of the baking dish, how runny you’d like your eggs, and even the oven’s heat. - To avoid any eggshells getting into your dish, avoid cracking the egg directly. Crack your eggs into a small bowl first, then gently transfer them into your dish.
- If you decide to add mushrooms, spinach, bacon, or anything that needs a certain amount of time to cook, I recommend sauteing for a few minutes first before adding them to your dish.
