Today, I’d like to share this Chicken Breast Recipe I made using my Sofrito with Chipotle Pepper in Adobo Sauce. One of the many ways I take care of my family is to cook meals that are flavorful and nutritious. This Chipotle Chicken Breast recipe is packed with amazing flavors and seared to a beautiful golden color. It’s a quick and easy dinner that comes together within no time at all.
If you love chicken you’ll enjoy this Chipotle Chicken Breast Recipe. I have to say what makes this chicken breast special is adding the sofrito. This seasoning is made with a combination of garlic, cilantro, and different types of peppers including Chipotle pepper. This adds a very distinctive smoky flavor to it. I just added a few tablespoons of the sofrito to these chicken breasts and marinated them for at least 10 minutes. This sofrito will only take you a few minutes to make and a couple of ingredients. I shared a link down below on how to make it. These juicy and flavorful chicken breasts are perfect with a salad, over pasta or with my delicious Rice and beans. In this post, I decided to pair it with a fresh homemade pineapple salsa making it a light and healthy choice.
Ingredients you’ll need:
- Chicken Breast
- Avocado oil (or any other of your preference)
- Sofrito with Chipotle in Adobo Sauce
How to make this Chipotle Chicken Breast Recipe:
The first step is to season the chicken breast using one or two tablespoons of this sofrito and let it marinate for a few minutes.
Then, in a nonstick pan over medium-high heat place oil. When the oil is hot, place the chicken breast leaving space between them. Cook each side for about 10 to 15 minutes or until the chicken is well done.
Remove from the stove and let the chicken breast rest before serving. Paired this chicken breast with a fresh Homemade Pineapple Salsa as I did. You can also serve it over white rice or a flavorful Caribbean-Style Rice and Beans.
