Looking for a quick and easy dinner option thatโs on the table in less than 20 minutes? I have the perfect recipe for you. The fresh fish fillets are coated with a simple dry rub and then broiled until browned. This broiled salmon recipe doesnโt get any easier. The finishing touch on this broiled salmon is a drizzle of honey and freshly squeezed lemon juice. It adds so much extra flavor!
Broiled Wild Salmon Recipe
This salmon recipe is easy enough for a quick weeknight dinner yet elegant enough to serve for a special dinner.

I use wild-caught fresh salmon for this recipe. You can also use frozen that is thawed. I seasoned the fillets with garlic powder, Himalayan salt, and black pepper, and for a nice spicy kick red pepper flakes (optional) but highly recommended. And three of my favorite ingredients when making salmon, are lemon, unsalted butter, and honey.
How to make these Wild Salmon Filets
Making this salmon recipe is so simple. Start by setting your oven to broil. Then, coat a sheet pan with cooking spray and set aside.
Prep the salmon. Rub the spices on both sides of the salmon filet.
Place them on the baking sheet. Add lemon slices under the thickest part of the salmon, and add 2 slices of unsalted butter on both ends of the fish.
Broil for 10-15 minutes or until salmon is browned and opaque. There is no need to flip the salmon over for this recipe. Keeping the salmon skin-side up allows the skin to crisp under the broiler.
The best way to know if the salmon is ready is when the flesh goes from translucent to opaque and the salmon flakes easily with a fork. To serve, add honey and lemon juice and garnish with the already-cooked lemon wedges. This Salmon recipe pairs well with my Creamy Mashed Potatoes.
