The best part about this Balsamic Chicken Tenders with Mushroom recipe is how quickly and easy it’s to make. In just 30 minutes or less, you will have a flavorful meal. The combination of the mushrooms and the balsamic vinegar makes this delicious meal one of my favorite dishes. The chicken tenders are simmered in a thick balsamic vinegar sauce which makes a great pair with quinoa as a side dish.  How to cook these Chicken Tenders with Mushroom in Balsamic Sauce

The first step is to combine all the spices and season the chicken tenders

Then, slice the mushrooms and green onions and set aside

In a large skillet over high heat place one teaspoon of vegetable oil and cook each side of the chicken tenders for about two minutes or until a golden brown and add the butter

Add a teaspoon of honey and keep cooking for a few more minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken tenders
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4  teaspoon rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup lemon juice
  • 1 cup mushrooms diced
  • 1/2 cup green onions diced
  • 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar

Instructions

  • Combine all the spices and season the meat with the mixture 
  • slice the mushrooms and green onions and set aside
